He has extensive experience in teaching and training activities in both higher education and industrial settings in the United States and abroad. Training and consulting activities have included the creation and several years of delivery of corporate training for an international service franchising company, workshops on business in a market economy including principles of accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, planning, human resource management, marketing and international marketing in countries in transition such as Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Malawi, Rwanda, China and Vietnam. Assoc. Prof. Arthur Gogatz is a native New Yorker with over 20 years of experience in creativity consulting and advertising. He was a creative director at J. Walter Thompson in New York and now he is teaching creativity and innovation related subjects at the University of Nancy in France. He is also a co-founder of 18th Horse Creativity Group Consultants Ltd. Professor Gogatz has authored many books on creativity and innovation including “Unleash Your Power of Creativity” and “Business Creativity: Breaking the Invisible Barriers”, and has given seminars and university courses in more than 16 countries worldwide in creativity enhancement, innovation, brainstorming, motivational studies, problem analysis, idea generation, communications flow and image consulting. He is currently the Director of International Programs at the Graduate Business School of the University of Nancy, France and a visiting professor at several universities worldwide.
